Earthquake of 4.3 magnitude strikes Kargil in Ladakh, no damage reported

KARGIL: Earthquake tremors measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale were felt in Ladakh's Kargil on Saturday morning, the National Center for Seismology said.

The earthquake took place around 8.35 am and was located 10 kilometres beneath the surface of the earth. The epicentre was 151 km North West of Kargil.

No life or property loss was reported after the earthquake.
