SHOPIAN: Health department Shopian today observed World Anti-Rabies day at different health institutions across the district.

The day was also observed at Paramedical Colleges and MC Shopian.

The programmes were organised by District Surveillance Unit Shopian under the theme "One Health, Zero Death" and the main objective of the programmes was to provide awareness among all inhabitants of the district regarding the preventive and curative measures adopted against the disease.

The program was also attended by the dignitaries from State Surveillance office Srinagar who provided valuable information to the participants against the said disease.

Besides, master trainers/ Resource persons sentitized the paramedical staff, vaccinatoros regarding the route as well as dosage of the vaccination to the dog bitten patients.
