Relief department organizing series of events to promote SSA, NMB campaigns

JAMMU: Revenue and Relief Department is organizing a series of activities in Kashmiri Migrant colonies from September 26, 2022 to October 4, 2022 under "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" programme, SVEEP for SSR 2022, Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign, Health is Wealth Campaign and My Vote My Power campaign.

The activities being held at different places include poster making competition at Jagti, Purkhoo and Nagrota, HSS Durga Nagar and HSS Shastri Nagar on September 29, Medical camp at all camps on September 29, Yoga activities by Art of Living Organisation at Muthi on September 30 and Purkhoo on October 01 and Jagti on October 02, Relay games for primary Wings at Jagti, Purkhoo and Muthi on September 30 and October, 01.

T-20 Cricket Tournament at Jagti on September 29 and October 01, Ludo at Purkho on September 29, Chess at HSS Roop Nagar Muthi on September 30, Quiz competition among 10th and 12th classes at Jagti, Muthi and HSS Talab Tillo on September 30, Painting Competitions at all camps Durga Nagar HSS, Shastri Nagar HSS on October 01 and 03, Pledge (Nasha Mukt Abhiyan) at all camps on October 03.

Best out of Waste competition among secondary and higher secondary wings at all camps, HSS Shastri Nagar, HSS Durga Nagar on October 01 and 03, Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan (sanitation Drive) at all camps on October 02 and Exhibition of cultural and ethnic tradition of Kashmiri Pandits at Jagti on October 02.

Prizes offered are Tablets, Smart Watches, Airpods, Backpacks, Water Bottles, Lunch Boxes, Sports Kits, Trophies, School bags and Education material.
