SAMBA: Under the weekly Block Diwas programme, Special Gram Sabha was today organized to address the public grievances at Panchayat Mangu Chakk of border block Rajpura of district Samba.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Ramkesh Sharma, Tehsildar Rajpura, Subhash Chandra, BDO Rajpura Shivani Deonia and other officials were present on the occasion.

The officers listened to the problems being faced by the people and resolved majority of them on the spot through inter departmental convergence.

Among other issues discussed, height of a dam being built on the border at 135 feet was a major one which was resolved.
