ADDC Kishtwar resolves developmental issues in Panchayat Piyas

KISHTWAR: Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sham Lal, today visited Panchayat Piyas of block Nagseni and took first hand appraisal of the developmental works there.

He was accompanied by BDC Chairman Nagseni Mohammad Ashraf Choudhary, DDC member Nagseni Faisal Ahmed, CEO Kishtwar Development Authority Inderjeet Singh Parihar, local PRI members, Tehsildar Nagseni, Majid Jahangir besides field functionaries of RDD and PWD among others.

Redressing the Land issue raised in the General Council meeting held recently, the ADDC inspected the site identified for the construction of Naib Tehsildar's office building at Pathernaki area of Piyas Panchayat.

After the intervention of concerned officers, the land issue was resolved on-spot and the concerned executing authorities were directed to take up the construction work immediately.

Besides, the land for construction of works under Back to village to be executed by RDD Nagseni was also identified on the occasion.

The RDD authorities were directed to execute the work immediately.

Meanwhile, the ADDC also inspected the old inspection Hut of R&B of PWD Kishtwar and directed Tehsildar Nagseni to look into the matter and ensure proper hand over of the building to indenting department within week's time.

Later, the ADDC along with the BDC chairman and DDC members identified the state lands for the construction of assets under RR plan of Various Hydroelectric Power Projects.

He directed the concerned executing agencies to come up with the proposed projects immediately so that development of infrastructure under RR plan is completed in time.

The Kwar Hydroelectric power Project authorities were directed to construct the bridal path from the newly constructed Bridge to the existing Bridal Path of Pullar village of Nagseni for the convenience and safety of local inhabitants.

The project authorities assured that the path stretch between newly constructed Bridge and the existing Bridal Path will be maintained and upgraded soon.
