DGP, J&K extends warm greetings on auspicious occasion of Ram Navami

JAMMU: On the auspicious occasion of the Ram Navami, Director General of Police, J&K, R.R Swain has extended heartfelt greetings to the people, the families of police martyrs, all ranks of J&K Police, security forces, and their families.

The DGP said that the teachings of Shri Ram have always guided the humanity regarding righteousness, truthfulness, sacrifice,valour, respect for traditions and values. He has expressed hope that this festival will further foster the spirit of unity, harmony and brotherhood among the people.

Wishing the people a happy Ram Navami, the DGP called upon people to be aware of anti social, anti national elements, whose only motive is to disturb the hard earned peace and destroy the lives of new generations. J&K Police, Security agencies are committed to protect the prevailing peaceful atmosphere and also to secure the future of generations, he said in his message.

The DGP J&K has appealed the people to continue their support in the fight against the terrorism, narcotics, and gangsters to provide a secure environment for peace and development of the UT.
