DEO Bandipora visits polling stations in Block Aloosa of 15-Bandipora AC

BANDIPORA: The District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Thursday conducted a field tour of Aloosa Block of 15-Bandipora AC to assess arrangements at Polling Stations in Aloosa, and also conducted inspection of ongoing works at Block Office Aloosa.

During the visit, the DEO assessed facilities available for voters at the polling station established at Higher Secondary School Aloosa and emphasized to ensure that all polling stations are fully prepared to facilitate smooth and transparent voting processes for the electorate.

He assessed the availability of Assured minimum Facilities (AMF) at polling station, including availability of ramps, drinking water facilities, facilities for PwD voters, etc.

Shakeel ul Rehman said that every effort is being made to ensure a fair and equitable voting experience for all and stressed on the concerned to ensure that all facilities are in place well in advance.

During his visit to Higher Secondary Aloosa, the DEO also interacted with staff and students and took feedback regarding infrastructure and academic activities.

Meanwhile, the DEO also visited Block Office Aloosa to assess the status of ongoing construction works.

He emphasized the concerned departments/officers to ensure proper monitoring besides directing the executing agency to maintain quality and complete the work within the stipulated time frame.

The DEO was accompanied by ACD Bandipora Mumtaz Ahmad Pir, CPO Bandipora Mohammad Maqbool, BDO Bandipora/Aloosa Mohammad Arif, and others.
