Dharti‑Abha 2.0 Campaign concludes in Block Vijaypur

SAMBA: The Dharti‑Abha 2.0 Campaign, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, concluded successfully in Block Vijaypur.

Aimed at strengthening governance and ensuring inclusive development in tribal regions, the campaign focused on bridging developmental gaps, raising awareness about welfare schemes and facilitating redressal of grievances through institutional mechanisms.

Conducted under the dynamic leadership of District Development Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, the seven-day outreach saw active participation from all 17 line departments. Special emphasis was laid on the tribal village of Rakh Barotian, where data-driven planning and community feedback guided developmental interventions.

A key highlight was the event was a comprehensive Gram Sabha, enabling targeted gap assessment using data provided by the Ministry. Awareness stalls were also established at Block Headquarters Vijaypur, offering information on welfare schemes and serving as grievance redressal hubs.

With over 900 beneficiaries engaged, the campaign facilitated door-step governance and tribal empowerment. Rakh Barotian in particular, stood out as a model of inclusive outreach and administrative responsiveness.
