BHADERWAH: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bhadarwah Sunil Kumar Buthyal today convened a meeting of officers and stakeholders here at Dak Bungalow to discuss the arrangements for the celebration of Independence Day-2025.

The meeting discussed the essential arrangements including security, first aid, sanitation, and deployment of Fire & Emergency Services, seating, power supply, drinking water availability and issuance of invitation cards. Directions were issued to the concerned departments to ensure foolproof arrangements well in advance.

The meeting decided that all government buildings and institutions in the area will be illuminated to mark the occasion in a grand manner.

The Full Dress Rehearsal of the Independence Day programme will be held on August 13, 2025. The departments were instructed to ensure their participation and preparedness.

The meeting was attended by CEO BDA Joginder Singh Jasrotia, BMO Dr. Versha Sharma, the heads of Boys and Girls Higher Secondary Schools, AE PHE, representatives from CRPF and Police Department and officers from several other departments.
