DLSA Udhampur celebrates World Environment Day

UDHAMPUR: On the eve of World Environment Day, District Legal Services Authority Udhampur under the guidance of the Chairman District Legal Services Authority Udhampur, Haq Nawaz Zargar and the overall Supervision of Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur, Ajay Kumar celebrated "World Environment Day" in collaboration with District Forest Office, Udhampur at District Court Complex Udhampur.

The programme was started with Special Plantation drive by Forest Department and District Legal Services Authority Udhampur in presence of Worthy Chairman DLSA Udhampur, Haq Nawaz Zargar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Mr. Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Superintendent of Police Udhampur, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Divisional Forest Officer, Udhampur Mr. Rushal Garg, IFS, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Manoj Parihar, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur, Ajay Kumar, Sub-Judge Special Mobile Magistrate Udhampur, Slahuddin Ahmed, Munsiff JMIC Udhampur, Maleeka Sharma, District Judicial Mobile Magistrate Udhampur, Vishal Bharti and President Bar Association Udhampur, Mr. J.D Slathia and a number of Lawyers, DLSA Staff and PLVs.

District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur also emphasized on the main theme on World Environment Day i.e. Beat Plastic Pollution, ‘Ecosystem Restoration' with focus on living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature.

The Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur Ajay Kumar later explained that it is the fundamental duty of every citizen of this country to protect and improve the natural environment and to have compassion for living creatures.
