UDHAMPUR: Expenditure Observer for Udhampur, V. Vivekananda Reddy today conducted the first inspection of the Expenditure Registers and Shadow Observation Registers here at a meeting.

Reddy reviewed the records maintained by the accounting teams constituted under the direction of the District Election Officer, Udhampur. He emphasized the need for a transparent and smooth conduct of the inspection process and urged all officials to maintain a cordial atmosphere while ensuring strict adherence to the expenditure norms as prescribed by the Election Commission of India.

The inspection was attended by Bikram Dutt, Nodal Officer for Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) and Dheeraj Jandial, District Treasury Officer.

The District Election Office has taken all necessary steps to ensure proper monitoring of election expenses, in line with the established guidelines, to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.

The Expenditure Observer will continue to supervise and inspect records to ensure compliance with the electoral expenditure rules.
