Second Randomization of EVMs conducted in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: The second randomization of Electronic Voting Machines for the upcoming General Elections to the Legislative Assembly 2024 was successfully conducted here today at Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Udhampur.

The process was overseen by the District Election Officer Saloni Rai, in the presence of General Observers S A Raman and B C Sateesha, Returning Officers from all Assembly Constituencies and representatives of various political parties.

The DEO emphasized the importance of the randomization process in maintaining the integrity of the electoral system. She added that Randomization ensures that EVMs are allocated to polling stations in a transparent, fair and unbiased manner, in full compliance with the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India.

The General Observers monitored the entire process to ensure strict adherence to all ECI guidelines, reinforcing the commitment to conducting free and fair elections.
