DEO Kishtwar reviews counting arrangements

KISHTWAR: In preparation to the counting of votes in the district Kishtwar , the District Election Officer Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan reviewed the arrangements for the transparent, smooth and hassle free counting of votes for all the three Assembly Constituencies namely 48-Inderwal ,49-Kishtwar and 50-Paddar Nagseni of district Kishtwar.

DEO along with SSP Kishtwar Abdul Qayoom conducted a joint inspection at Counting Centers for all the three Assembly Constituencies established at Kendriya Vidyalaya to check the arrangements.

The visit included the thorough inspection of essential infrastructure and safety measures including seating arrangements for candidates, agents, barricading for hassle free counting process, provisions of IT & communication system, establishment of media cell and other related logistics.

Shavan also reviewed the security arrangements and expressed satisfaction over the preparations made by all agencies.

The DEO also stressed for basic facilities like washroom, drinking water at the venue along with the precautions of implementing fire and safety measures and stationed medical staff on standby for any eventuality.

Among others ROs 49-Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal , 48-Inderwal Idrees Lone ,50-Paddar Nagseni Dr Amit Kumar, ASP Pawan Sharma, Election NT Angrez Singh, Nodal Officer Logistics Phulail Singh, DIO Kuldeep Kumar, Nodal Officer Training Riaz Ahmed Butt, ExEn PHE Sunil Sharma and other concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
