32 Jodhamal students qualify for National Skating Championship

JAMMU: Thirty two young skaters of Jodhamal Public School have qualified for the upcoming 62nd National Roller-Skating Championship 2024, scheduled to be held at Mysore, Bangalore and Coimbatore from December 5 to December 15, 2024.

Jodhamal students selected to represent J&K include Kaavish, Sahraj Singh, Ransher Singh Wazir, Hriday, Nalinaksh, Samaira Mahajan, Naisha Verma, Pavit Gupta, Ayraa Vishishth, Hazel Suri, Shiva Gupta, Tabish Haider Chib, Bhavnoor Kour, Gunvika, Aahan Sharma, Gurjas Singh, Shawni Sharma, Anandini Sharma, Aamyaa, Pearl Suri, Namish Gupta, Dhruv Gupta, Ayesha Chib, Akshita Sharma, Sameer Rahi, Danial Butt, Sehrish Abrol, Priya Mahajan, Saksham Sharma, Aarav Sharma, Aarohi Fatima and Czia Raina.
These students have been trained by the School Coaches, Kamal Anand and Ritish.

In the recent J&K UT Roller Skating Championship held at MA Stadium, students from Jodhamal won 22 Gold, 15 Silver and 26 Bronze medals.

Trustee of the School, Nandan Kuthiala remarked, "We are immensely proud of hard work and commitment of our students."

Principal Girish Kumar said: "These young skaters embody Jodhamal's vision of holistic education."

Vice Principal Amita Arora also spoke on the occasion.
