Tiny Tots Hr Sec School celebrates Sports Day

JAMMU: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School hosted its Annual Sports Day with great excitement and energy at the school grounds in Sainik Colony, here on Tuesday.

The event was graced by chief guest Satish Sharma, Minister for Youth Services and Sports, who was welcomed by the students with a shower of petals.

The day was further distinguished by the presence of guests of honour, including Anil Kapahi, Sandeep Jain, Sunny Dua, Shreyansh Kumar Jain, Manmeet Kour, Vishakha Pandita, Dr. Additi Khajuria and Dr. Vaid.

Dr. Vikram Handa, Principal of the school, delivered the welcome address and presented the annual report, showcasing the school's remarkable achievements. Chairperson Veena Handa, School Director Gurpreet Handa and the distinguished guests officially inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial torch, carried around the field by Sports Captain Sunny Thakur.

Satish Sharma praised the students' efforts and emphasized the importance of modern technologies like Robotics and AI in the curriculum, while Sandeep Jain encouraged patriotism and bonding through school activities.

Winners across various events included the Loyalty House, led by Manik, which won the March Pass Gold and Waqar, who clinched the Gold in the Sack Race Group B, with Ansham and Adrees taking Silver and Bronze respectively.

Mohd Sarij, Manya, and Sumit bagged the top spots in the Sack Race Group A, while Kartik and Tanveer won the Caterpillar Race in Group A (Nursery). Other notable winners included Sonal and Ishita in the Frog Race Group A, Aman and Surya in the Boys' Banana Race, and Jiya and Divanshika in the Girls' Emoji Race.

In the 50-meter races, Yawar and Krishna excelled in both Boys' Group B Junior and senior categories, while Reeya and Pragati led the Girls' races. Sahran emerged as the winner in the Senior Badminton Boys category, with Bharti Kaalyal winning the Senior Badminton Girls title.

The event culminated in the thrilling Parents' and Teachers' Races, where Anjeel and Vanessa Ramos took Gold in their respective categories, and Monika secured first place in the Teachers' Race.
