KISHTWAR: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Paddar, Dr. Amit Kumar, conducted a site inspection of the under-construction Chishoti Bridge-an important connectivity project leading to Machail Village on Palali to Machail Road being executed by the PMGSY (Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana) Department.
The inspection aimed at reviewing the progress of the bridge, which holds significant importance for the upcoming Shree Machail Mata Yatra 2025.
During the visit, the SDM instructed the contractor to augment the number of technically skilled workers and implement double shifts to accelerate the pace of construction.
To ensure the safe and uninterrupted movement of pilgrims during the Yatra period, the PMGSY department was also directed to construct a temporary alternate path. This proactive measure is expected to facilitate smooth execution of the bridge-launching work while safeguarding public convenience.
The Chishoti Bridge, once completed, will serve as a critical infrastructure link for the region, enhancing connectivity and supporting the spiritual and economic vitality associated with the revered Shree Machail Mata Yatra.
Tehsildar Paddar, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) PMGSY, and the project contractor were present during the inspection. |
