SRINAGAR: Member of Legislative Assembly Tanvir Sadiq on Saturday joined Health Minister Sakina Itoo at the launch of ‘Allergy Alert 2025' and the release of the Asian Journal of Clinical Research & Practice at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLNM) Hospital, Srinagar.

Describing the occasion as a "great moment," Sadiq praised JLNM Hospital's transformation into a vibrant centre of clinical care and medical innovation. He commended the hospital's emphasis on early allergy diagnosis, education, and region-specific research, especially in light of the rising prevalence of allergies in Kashmir.

"With allergies becoming a growing public health concern, JLNM's focus on empowering primary care and tackling local allergy triggers is a commendable model for community healthcare," Sadiq said.

In a move to further strengthen the hospital's capabilities, the MLA announced that he would contribute from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to help procure essential medical equipment. He assured the hospital administration of continued support to aid in its development.

"I'm proud to stand by JLNM's vision. It is well on its way to becoming a leading destination for allergy treatment and clinical excellence," Sadiq added.
