DLSA Shopian holds interaction with Ex-Servicemen; assures free Legal Aid

SHOPIAN: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian today organized an interactive session with ex-servicemen and Veer Naris (war widows) of district Shopian to listen to their issues.

The event was held under the chairmanship of Mehmood Ahmad Chowdhury, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Shopian, and conducted by Rafie Ahmad Ganie, Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel (LADC), Shopian along with Deputy Chief LADC, Shahnawaz Raina.

During the interaction, ex-servicemen shared their grievances and highlighted pending cases in various courts across the district. DLSA assured them of full support in providing free legal aid as per the directives of the Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority (JKLSA).

Chief LADC reiterated DLSA's commitment to ensuring accessible and efficient legal assistance to ex-servicemen and Veer Naris, in line with the vision of NALSA (National Legal Services Authority) and emphasized that all necessary steps will be taken to address their legal concerns promptly.
