DODA: The District Administration Doda in collaboration with the Department of Ayush Doda today initiated preparations for the International Yoga day.

This prelude event marks the beginning of planning and coordination efforts to ensure a successful and meaningful observance of this global event.

The District Administration Doda under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh alongside ADC Doda, ACR Doda, PO ICDS, District Ayush Officer, CPO, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, ACP, ACD, other District officers and officials, Master Yoga Anil Thakur convened to outline key activities and objectives for the upcoming 10th International Yoga Day.

This annual celebration aims to promote the practice of yoga as a means to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, fostering unity and peace among participants.

The main celebrations on June 21, 2024 will take place at two prominent venues at Sports Stadium Doda and Tourist Gatha Park Bhaderwah. These locations will host a series of yoga sessions, workshops, and demonstrations conducted by experienced yoga practitioners.

The District Administration Doda also cordially invites residents, yoga enthusiasts, and the public, Media to join in commemorating this significant event on June 21, 2024.
