ANANTNAG: The Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign aimed at raising awareness about voter participation and strengthening democratic processes, gathered momentum here today in a special event held at Town-hall Qazigund.
The program included a series of awareness sessions focusing to ensure no eligible voter is left behind, the campaign emphasized the importance of timely registration. A pledge was also taken by all attendees to vote ethically, avoid inducements, and encourage others to participate in the democratic process responsibly.
Adding to the enthusiasm of the campaign, students presented cultural programs including traditional Kashmiri music and dance performances, which were well-received by the audience. These performances aimed to merge the message of electoral participation with the rich cultural heritage of the region.
