BHADERWAH: In an effort to bolster disaster preparedness, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) organized an awareness program here today at Seri Bazar Park - Bhadarwah.
The NDRF team presented demonstrations on essential rescue techniques, first aid administration, and emergency response strategies, emphasizing practical skills that can be used during disasters. These hands-on demonstrations were aimed at educating the public on swift, effective responses that could save lives in times of crisis.
Community members, including seniors and youth, actively engaged with the NDRF team to gain a better understanding of disaster management principles. The program encouraged preparedness at the local level, aiming to enhance the overall resilience of the Bhadarwah community against potential natural and man-made disasters.
The event was hosted by the Senior Citizen Association, with notable community members Mast Nath Yogi, Abdul Hafeez Khateeb, Shabir Ahmed Ganai, and Munshi Ram playing key roles in bringing the program to the community.
