REASI: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Reasi, Nidhi Malik convened a crucial meeting today to review the operations of the Building Operation Controlling Authority concerning the town planning scheme in Ransoo.

The meeting focused on streamlining processes and addressing key issues related to building permissions and other operational challenges in the area.

Senior officials, including EO SSKSB Pardeep Kumar, ACR Anshumali Sharma, and XENs from Jal Shakti and JPDCL participated in the deliberations.

During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of ensuring compliance with the town planning guidelines. She directed the concerned officer to expedite the process for obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and to initiate offline application processes for building permissions.

To curb unauthorized constructions in Ransoo, DC instructed Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars to actively monitor and take corrective action against illegal activities within the designated planning zones.

Further, DC Nidhi Malik directed the Accounts Officer to establish a dedicated account for the deposit of fees related to the town planning scheme to enhance transparency and efficiency.
