KATHUA: Terrorists and security forces exchanged fire today morning in the Bhatodi area of Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.

They said that a search operation was launched in the area after security forces detected suspicious movement late last night.

This morning, exchange of fire took place after alert troops challenged the individuals, with a few rounds being fired.

A search operation is currently underway to trace the suspects.
