UDHAMPUR: A Healthy baby competition was organised at Panchari by the ICDS Department.

The event was inaugurated by District Programme Officer Poshan Subhash Chander Dogra in presence of CDPO Panchari and CDPO Udhampur.

The competition was organised under the guidance and directions of the Deputy Commissioner to educate the public regarding the good health of each and every child.

A lecture on baby health, pregnant & lactating mothers was delivered by Dr Isha of RBSK team Panchari.

The programme was earlier held at AWC level, Panchayat level and Sector level and the healthiest children were selected for participation in the Project Level competition.

Several activities like frog jump, spoon race ,singing competition and dancing competition were performed by the children and the children judged best were rewarded with the Prizes.

The consolation prizes were distributed amongst all the participating children. The parents present on the occasion were advised to carry this message in the whole society to ensure the provision of a balanced diet to their children to make the nation healthy.

Among others, Supervisors, HNM, parents and locals of Panchari town were present.
