SRINAGAR: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and MLA Padder-Nagseni, Sunil Sharma today lashed out at ruling National Conference (NC) for deteriorating peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir. He held NC responsible for 1931, exodus of Kashmir Pandits in 1989, till recent Kulgam attack in which an ex-serviceman was killed by unidentified terrorist while his wife and niece sustained injuring in the attack.
Speaking to reporters outside Army's 92-Base hospital in Srinagar, Sharma said today our visit was aimed to see and inquire our sisters who got critically injured in a terrorist attack in Behibgah village in south Kashmir's Kulgam two days back.
"I along with BJP J&K president Sat Sharma, former president Ravinder Raina and other leaders are visiting Kulgam to express solidarity and sympathy to the family of Manzoor Wagay, an ex-serviceman who lost his life in a terrorist attack. On the directions of party high command we are here to express our solidarity and help the family adequately," Sharma said.
While hitting hard, the BJP leader Sunil Sharma alleged NC for disturbing peaceful atmosphere in the region. "Be it 1931, 1989 exodus or recent Kulgam attack, NC has always played a dirty game and is responsible for deteriorating peace in J&K," Sharma said.
Speaking to reporters, BJP J&K president Sat Sharma strongly condemned the Kulgam attack, and accused certain elements of trying to create unrest in the region.
He emphasized that their sacrifice would not go in vain. "Some people, acting on Pakistan's directions, are trying to disturb the peace here. They will not be spared," he warned. "The bravery of our martyrs will always be remembered, and justice will be served."
