Valediction ceremony held for Elective Women's Tailoring training programme at SBI RSETI Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: A 31-day skill development training programme on "Elective Women's Tailor," conducted by the State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI), Kishtwar concluded successfully today.

The programme witnessed active participation from women belonging to various parts of the district, with the objective of equipping them with tailoring skills to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among rural women.

The valediction ceremony was attended by Imtiaz Ahmed, Functional Manager at the District Industries Centre (DIC), who engaged with the trainees and urged them to utilize their newly acquired skills to establish their own ventures.

He also explained the Tejaswini Scheme, a dedicated initiative to support women entrepreneurs, along with other government-sponsored schemes offering up to 35% subsidy for women beneficiaries.

Imtiaz Ahmed encouraged the participants to come forward and take full advantage of these schemes, emphasizing the importance of financial independence and local employment generation.

Certificates of completion were distributed to all the trainees by the Chief Guest during the ceremony.
