UDHAMPUR: The Drug and Food Control Organization Udhampur issued a strict directive to all chemists and wholesale distributors operating within the district regarding the sale and purchase of habit-forming pharmaceutical formulations, particularly Pregabalin 300 mg.

In a decisive move to curb the growing menace of drug misuse in society, the Drug and Food control organization, Udhampur imposed an immediate ban / restriction on the sale and distribution of Pregabalin 300 mg formulations, including any FDC of Pregabalin 300. This step has been taken as part of a broader initiative to combat the rampant misuse of such habit-forming substances and to safeguard public health and safety.

The ADC, Drug and Food Control Organization Udhampur advised all licensed chemists and wholesale distributors to strictly refrain from dispensing, selling or purchasing Pregabalin 300 mg formulations under any circumstances. Non-compliance with this directive will lead to immediate cancellation of their trade license, without any further notice.
