DODA: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Harvinder Singh chaired a review meeting today to assess the implementation status of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.
The DDC reviewed the progress of ongoing HADP projects and evaluated the district's performance against the set targets. He stressed the need for timely execution of initiatives to ensure tangible benefits reach the farming community. Calling for inter-departmental convergence and coordinated efforts, he urged all concerned departments to work in mission mode to uplift the rural economy through sustainable agricultural practices.
Detailed presentations were made by officials highlighting key achievements, current progress, and challenges faced in the field. The DDC emphasized the importance of mass awareness campaigns to maximize farmer participation and directed officials to intensify outreach activities across rural areas.
