JAMMU: Mission Shakti District Hub for empowerment of Women (Social Welfare Department), in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM), organized an awareness camp at Garhi Kot Bhawal to empower local women through awareness on various government welfare initiatives.

The session, organized under the supervision of District Mission Coordinator Mission Shakti Shagun Manchanda, focused on enhancing awareness, ensuring access to entitlements, and promoting the active participation of women in economic and social development.

Gender Specialist Mission Shakti Sonali Rana shared detailed insights about several women-centric schemes, encouraging Self-Help Group (SHG) members and local women to take advantage of the opportunities available to them.

Officials of Mission Shakti & NRLM appreciated the participation of local women and SHG members. The collaborative effort aimed to strengthen grassroots outreach and create a more inclusive support system for women in the region.
