DDC Doda inaugurates Ayushman Bharat help desk in SDH Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today inaugurated a KIOSK (Help desk) for Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY/Sehat) here in Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah.

ADC Bhaderwah, Dilmir Chowdhary; CMO, Dr Ab Hamid Zargar; Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah, besides staff of SDH Bhaderwah attended the inauguration programme.

The DDC informed that the initiative of Help Desk (KIOSK) of AB, PMJAY has been undertaken by the National Health Authority for the ease of beneficiaries while availing healthcare services under the scheme.

Further, the DDC said the Hospital Help Desk initiative is to directly connect the beneficiaries with the hospital and provide an enhanced and seamless accessibility of information at the time of admission. "This would also help to create a uniform identity of AB PMJAY for the beneficiaries and patch lapses, if any. It will function as a dedicated service window with a potential to provide all types of information about the scheme to the visitors," the DDC informed.

After inauguration, the DDC conducted a detailed round of the SDH Bhaderwah, to assess the quality of health services and patient care. He inspected various sections and took stock of the functioning of the hospital.

While interacting with the staff, the DDC Doda advised them to perform their duties with sincerity and punctuality besides impressing upon them to provide best patient care, so that patients coming to the facility get benefited.
