GCW Gandhinagar organises pledge taking ceremony under 'Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign'

JAMMU: NSS Unit 1 and Unit 2 of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government College for women Gandhinagar today organized pledge taking ceremony under the banner 'Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign.'

The Pledge taking ceremony aims to instill a sense of Patriotism and responsibilities among the people. All the Volunteers from Unit 1&2 actively took part in the event which commenced with introduction to the significance of the theme Meri Mati Mera Desh', highlighting the deep connection between individuals and their land.

The pledge encourages the individuals to actively engage in the activities that help in the up-lift of the society. The Principal of the College, Prof Minu Mahajan applauded the NSS volunteers. Prof Mala Bhasin, NSS Programme Coordinator, Cluster University of Jammu was also the part of the event which was well coordinated by Prof Anupama Sharma, NSSPO Unit-2.
