Two-Day Workshop on Systematic Literature Review and Meta-Analysis Commences at JU

JAMMU: In a significant step towards advancing research methodologies and enhancing academic rigor, the highly anticipated two-day workshop on Systematic Literature Review and Meta-Analysis has commenced today.
The workshop, organised by P.G. Department of Commerce, University of Jammu, Jammu, is designed to provide researchers, scholars, and academicians with comprehensive insights into the world of systematic literature review and meta-analysis.
The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Jaspreet Kaur. Earlier in the day the resource person was officially welcomed by Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, HOD Commerce.
Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Associate Professor, VIPS Delhi, a renowned expert in the field of Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis, led the sessions on the first day.
Drawing from her extensive experience, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur highlighted the importance of systematic literature review in generating evidence-based insights and informed decision-making across various domains.
The first day of the workshop witnessed an engaging and insightful exploration of the intricacies of Systematic Literature Review (SLR).
Participants were introduced to the fundamental principles of SLR, including its purpose, process, and methodologies. With a focus on cultivating a deep ,understanding of SLR, attendees were guided through the step-by-step approach to conducting a systematic review.
Practical sessions and case studies allowed participants to grasp the nuances of formulating research questions, designing search strategies, and critically assessing the quality of existing literature.
The first day of the workshop centered on equipping participants with the essential tools and knowledge to conduct a systematic literature review with precision and thoroughness. A robust systematic literature review forms the foundation for subsequent meta- analyses, enabling researchers to synthesize data, identify trends, and draw meaningful
conclusions. Participants expressed their enthusiasm for the workshop's engaging format,
combining theoretical sessions with hands-on activities.
The second day of the workshop will focus on Meta-Analysis, an advanced technique that builds upon the insights gained from systematic literature reviews.
Participants can look forward to an in-depth exploration of statistical methodologies, effect size calculation, data integration, and drawing meaningful inferences from meta-analytic results.
The Systematic Literature Review and Meta-Analysis Workshop has brought together a diverse group of researchers from various academic backgrounds, fostering cross-disciplinary learning and collaboration.
A total of 60 participants attended the sessions on the first day of the workshop.
The event underscores Department of Commerce's commitment to fostering research excellence and knowledge dissemination.
