Swearing-in Ceremony for Junior Students solemnised at Jodhamal School

JAMMU: The Investiture Ceremony for Junior Students was organized at Jodhamal Public School, Jammu.

The Chief Guest on the occasion was Vikram Randhawa, former MLC, J&K, Former State Secretary-BJP J&K (UT) and a social activist. The parents of the newly inducted Prefect Council were our esteemed guests who attended the Ceremony with a gleam of pride in their eyes.

The Ceremony commenced with the lighting of the sacred lamp amidst the chants of Gayatri Mantra which was followed by a Welcome Dance, a mesmerising group performance glorifying India.

As the swearing-in Ceremony commenced the newly-elected Prefects paced up the stage with pride in their gait, and glow on their faces. The comperes read out the citations as the Prefects moved. They were bestowed with badges and sashes by the Chief Guest.

A total of 45 students were conferred with various portfolios. The Senior School Head Boy, Anish Arora, administered the oath of allegiance to the Prefects in all solemnity and encouraged the students to cherish their duties, upholding the school's ethics.

Principal, Girish Kumar welcomed all the guests in his address. He further emphasised that the appointments are not merely positions but they also entail huge responsibilities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest, Vikram Randhawa, shared his thoughts and experiences of life and urged the students to continue to have moral values and discipline in life which can help them shape the future and become good leaders. He also encouraged the students to always walk on the path of righteousness, stick to it and be the change that they wish to see in the world. His inspiring examples from his own life experiences were the excellent means to make students understand how to invest one's life and also be a good leader.

Shefali Sanwal, Vice Principal, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Administrative Officer and all the Academic Coordinators, Junior School Sarojj, Smriti Malhotra, Neetu Johri and CCA Coordinator Deepali Puri were also present on this occasion.
