4-Year Old Jodhamal student Zorica Malhotra creates new record

JAMMU: Zorica Malhotra, a four-year-old little wonder has etched her name in the India Book of Records.

Zorica, a Pre-Primary student of Jodhamal Public School, Jammu has proven that age is nothing more than a number when it comes to brilliance. She has emerged as a true intellectual force by demonstrating her memory prowess at just 4 years of age.

Zorica has created a new record for being the fastest child to identify parts of an eye. She was able to identify and recited 15 different parts of a human eye, including cornea, conjunctiva, anterior chamber, posterior chamber, pupil, iris and others and recalled their names in 42 seconds and 28 milliseconds by viewing a picture of the human eye, at such a young age.

Zorica has always had a penchant for new information and has always been encouraged and guided by her parents and teachers in various activities to make use of her talent. A self-motivated learner, she has a good memory power.

"She showed interest and we started to introduce her to the world of scientific knowledge and this was really a good way of engaging her," said her parents, Dr. Diksha Malhotra and Mr. Sumit Malhotra.

Zorica's story serves as a reminder of both the boundless potential that every child possesses, and the critical role parents and teachers play in developing the young minds. For the time being, one thing is certain: the path taken by this extraordinary young mind will inspire future generations and ignite a desire for learning that knows no bounds.

Nandan Kuthiala, Trustee, Arati Kuthiala, Director, Girish Kumar, Principal, Shefali Sanwal, Vice Principal complimented Zorica for this remarkable feat.
