GDC Marh organises awareness program on ‘Women Empowerment'

JAMMU: IQAC, Government Degree College Marh, in collaboration with Northern News India (NNI) under the patronage of the College Principal Prof. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, today organized an interactive session on Women Empowerment.

Principal of the college said that the Media is an important pillar of the society and organizing such awareness programmes through this institution is of utmost importance.

Kiran Sharma, Reporter of the channel interacted with faculty and students on different dimensions of Women empowerment.

Students of BA 1st and 3rd semester namely Kapil Kumar, Abhay Singh Jamwal, Manish Kumar, Varun Kumar, Aman Verma, Kashish, Sneha Gupta, Harsha Kharoo, Komal Verma, Mishu Devi, Nerakshi Sharma expressed their views and raised queries on different gender issues.

The programme was organized by, Prof. Sachin Kumar, Prof. Asha, Dr. Balwinder Saini, Dr.Sheetal, Dr.Shakun and Dr.Ruchika.
