11 Jodhamal Students Qualify for State Camp of Vidyarthi Vigyaan Manthan 2024

JAMMU: Jodhamal School continues to uphold its legacy of excellence as its students achieve remarkable success in the prestigious Vidyarthi Vigyaan Manthan (VVM) 2024, one of the nation's largest science talent search examinations.

Organized by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar and NCERT, VVM serves as a platform to foster scientific inquiry and nurture innovation among young minds, aiming to identify and cultivate exceptional talent in science and technology.

In the Level 1 Online Exam of VVM 2024, an impressive 106 students from Jodhamal School participated, demonstrating their scientific acumen and problem-solving capabilities. Conducted in an online format, the examinations took place on October 23, October 27, and November 11, allowing students to participate from the comfort of their homes.

The recently announced results highlighted the school's outstanding performance, with 11 Jodhamal students having qualified for the State Level Camp.

The State-Level Qualifiers from Jodhamal School are: Soham Singh (Class VI), Guransh Singh (Class VI), Nishant Pathak (Class VIII), Shranya Sharma (Class VIII), Reyansh Sharma (Class VIII), Jayendra Singh Jasrotia (Class VIII), Mahit Singh (Class IX), Nitaant (Class IX), Ribhav Gupta (Class IX), Ayza Nizami (Class IX) and Navnid Singh (Class IX).

The Level 2 (State Level) Exam, scheduled to be conducted in physical mode, will take place at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu on 15 December 2024. This stage provides the qualified students an opportunity to showcase their advanced scientific prowess and move closer to national recognition in this esteemed competition.

The remarkable achievements of these students can be attributed to their relentless hard work and the dedicated mentorship of Avinash Singh and Shallu Singh Jamwal, who played a crucial role in guiding them through this challenging journey.

It is noteworthy that Jodhamal Students have been achieving unprecedented recognition in VVM every year. Last year also, three boys from Jodhamal were selected for the National Level Camp which took place at IISER, Bhopal in which Ryan Lamba bagged All India Rank 1 in Class XI Category.

The Trustee, Nandan Kuthiala, lauded the students' accomplishments, emphasizing the school's unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and cultivating a scientific temperament among its learners.

Arati Kuthiala, Director, remarked, "These achievements underscore the students' passion for science, coupled with the invaluable guidance and encouragement provided by their mentors and parents."

Principal, Girish Kumar, and Vice Principal, Amita Arora, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students, inspiring them to continue to excel in the field of science and technology.
