DLSA Bandipora organised Lok Adalat on Traffic Challans, Electricity Bills

BANDIPORA: District Legal Services Authority Bandipora in coordination with Tehsil legal Services Committees Bandipora, Sumbal and Gurez today organised Lok Adalat on Traffic Challans and Electricity Bills.

The Lok Adalat was held under the Supervision of Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Chairman District Legal Services Authority, (Pr. District & Session Judge) Bandipora and under the guidance of Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Bandipora.

Three Benches were constituted for the said Lok Adalat comprising of a Presiding Officer and a Member.

First Bench was presided over by Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon Secretary DLSA (Chief Judicial Magistrate) Bandipora and Amandeep Singh (Munsiff JMIC) Bandipora acted as bench member.

Second Bench was presided over by Rahila Rashid, Munsiff/JMIC Sumbal and Ghulam Mohi ud din Parray (Advocate) acted as bench member. Third Bench was presided over by Mehak Mehboob, Munsiff/JMIC Gurez and Tajamul Islam (Advocate) acted as bench member.

A total No. of 748 Cases were taken up and out of which 130 Cases were settled & an amount of Rs. 77,74,954/- was realized.
