Training program for YUVA Doots inaugurated at Samba

SAMBA: The District Administration Samba today commenced a comprehensive training programme for YUVA Doots under Mission YUVA. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma in the Conference Hall of the Administrative Complex Nandani Hills.
In his inaugural address, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the strategic importance of Mission YUVA in strengthening youth engagement at the grassroots level. The Deputy Commissioner directed the YUVA Doots and Motivators to ensure rigorous implementation of the initiative across all panchayats within the district.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Champa Devi Thakur, addressed the gathering and exhorted the participants to utilize the training programme to acquire comprehensive understanding of Mission YUVA's objectives and methodologies. She highlighted the instrumental role of youth participation in advancing developmental initiatives.
The training programme, organized under the auspices of the Office of the Assistant Director, Employment, Samba, featured detailed presentations from distinguished guest faculty representing various departments, including the Employment Department, J&K Bank, and NABARD. The presentations encompassed multiple domains relevant to youth development and engagement.
Participants received specialized instruction on the operational aspects of the Mission YUVA mobile application and portal, designed to enhance digital monitoring and implementation efficacy of the programme.
The initiative underscores the administration's commitment to fostering structured youth participation in governance and development processes at the local level.
