KISHTWAR: The second and concluding session of the YUVA DOOT training under the ambitious Mission YUVA initiative was successfully held today in the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.
Over the course of last two days-a total of 174 Yuva DOOTs were trained and equipped to take forward the mission's objectives across the district.
The event was spearheaded by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADDC/ADC), Pawan Kotwal.
The ADC underscored the critical role of YUVA DOOTs as grassroots catalysts in promoting youth entrepreneurship and enhancing livelihood opportunities in the region.
Emphasizing the long-term impact of empowering youth, the ADC described the initiative as a pivotal step towards self-reliance, inclusive development, and economic resilience in Kishtwar.
The program aimed at preparing the YUVA DOOTs-designated ambassadors of Mission YUVA-with essential knowledge about government schemes, eligibility frameworks, and operational procedures.
These trained volunteers will assist in facilitating outreach, onboarding, and mentorship of aspiring young entrepreneurs.
Subject experts and departmental resource persons conducted comprehensive sessions, covering everything from registration protocols to effective community engagement strategies.
The training also included a live demonstration of the YUVA App, offering hands-on experience with the digital interface for registration and real-time monitoring.
The program concluded with an engaging interactive session, ensuring clarity and confidence among participants for their forthcoming roles on the field.
With the successful completion of this training phase, the district now stands better poised to harness youth potential and foster an ecosystem of innovation and enterprise through Mission YUVA.
