MDP trainees visit Baribrahmana Industrial Estate; Engage with BBIA Chairman

JAMMU: An industrial visit was today organized on Day 05 for the trainees of the Management Development Programme (MDP), being conducted as part of the RAMP initiative at JKEDI Jammu, to several manufacturing units located in the Bari Brahmana Industrial area.
The objective of the visit was to provide practical exposure and deepen participants' understanding of industrial operations and business processes.
The visit was conducted in association with Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) through its Chairman Lalit Mahajan. It served to complement theoretical learning with on-ground insights into the functioning of manufacturing enterprises.
The trainees were accompanied by Rajesh Kotwal, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Jammu, along with course team members Ms. Monika Salaria and Ms. Rupali Choudhary. An interactive session was also organized with Lalit Mahajan, wherein he shared his valuable perspectives on the regional industrial ecosystem, emerging opportunities, and the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the area.
The industrial visit proved to be a highly enriching experience for the participants, significantly enhancing their awareness of the contemporary industrial landscape and fostering a practical understanding of business operations.
