KULGAM: In preparation of International Day of Yoga to be celebrated on June 21, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam Viqar Ahmed Giri today chaired a comprehensive meeting at the Mini Secretariat to review and finalize the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of Yoga Day events across the district.

During the meeting, ADC emphasized the importance of the International Day of Yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being, and called for collective efforts to ensure successful district-wide participation.

He directed concerned departments to make all logistical and technical arrangements, including ensuring availability of drinking water, sanitation and transportation.

It was informed that the main event will be organized at the mini-secretariat, where a large number of participants are expected to attend the early morning session on June 21.

The meeting was attended by, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, ACD, District Youth Services & Sports Officer, District Nodal Officer AYUSH, CEO, CMO and other concerned officers.
