BUDGAM: To ensure implementation and monitoring of Mission YUVA in district Budgam, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat, today chaired a review meeting at the DC Office, here.
The meeting was attended by Yuvadoot deployed under Mission YUVA, their controlling officers including ADDC Budgam, ACR Budgam, all SDMs, CPO Budgam, CAO Budgam, District officer NABARD, officials from the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Budgam and representatives from different banks .
A brief presentation was given by employees of DE&CC Budgam, who provided an overview of Mission YUVA, its objectives, and its importance in facilitating youth self-employment and entrepreneurship. The presentation showcased a live demonstration of Mission YUVA Portal.
The demonstration covered the process of registration, application submission, and the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) by Yuvadoot.
During the meeting, DC reviewed the current progress under Mission YUVA. As per the latest data, a total of 166 applications have been received, among which 160 were received under Nano Enterprises, 05 under New MSMEs, and 01 under Existing MSMEs.
A total of 11 applications are verified by SBDU which are forwarded to DLIC for approval.
The baseline survey data shared revealed a total of 1,35,314 households were surveyed and a total of 4,952 potential entrepreneur youth were registered (PEUR) and a total potential entrepreneurs which were identified in the district stands at 31,378.
DC emphasised the need for increased outreach and directed that each Yuvadoot must ensure the submission of at least one application per day.
He also instructed ACR and SDMs to closely monitor the performance of Yuvadoots within their jurisdiction and to submit weekly progress reports to the chair.
DC said , "Yuvadoots are the bridge between governance and the grassroots. Their role is not just to inform but to inspire action at the community level. With effective inter-departmental synergy, we can bring real transformation to every doorstep."
To maintain consistent oversight and address operational challenges promptly, DC further directed that weekly review meetings of Yuvadoots be held.
He also called for collective and coordinated efforts from all stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Mission YUVA across the district. |
