SRINAGAR: Secretary in Agriculture Production Department and Mission Director, HADP/JKCIP, Sandeep Kumar, today chaired a review meeting regarding implementation of the Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture & Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP) here today.
The meeting had a detailed assessment of the progress on JK CIP projects as outlined in the Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB) for the financial year 2025-26.
Senior officers, field level functionaries and key stakeholders from the Agriculture Production Department and allied sectors participated in the deliberations.
While reviewing component-wise implementation status, the Mission Director laid special emphasis on timely and efficient execution of initiatives promoting climate-resilient agriculture, innovation and sustainability. He highlighted the importance of aligning ground-level actions with the strategic objectives of JKCIP, asking the officials to resolve any operational bottlenecks on priority.
Appreciating the commitment of the field officers, the Secretary asked them to sustain the momentum in achieving the project milestones. He also underscored the need for enhanced monitoring, robust documentation and greater convergence with other agriculture missions and government schemes to ensure synergy and enhanced impact.
The meeting concluded with a collective reaffirmation from all stakeholders to work collaboratively towards transformation of Jammu and Kashmir's agriculture sector, with special focus on empowering women, youth and vulnerable communities. |
