Pink Polling Stations: Election Training programme for female employees held at Bandipora

BANDIPORA: The District Election office Bandipora on Saturday organised a specialized training program aimed at preparing female employees for their roles in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The programme was organized at Mini Secretariat Bandipora to equip female employees with the necessary skills and knowledge of the electoral process.

The programme presided over by Deputy District Election Officer (Dy.DEO) Mohammad Rafeeq was attended by female officials to be deputed for election duty at pink polling stations.

Dy.DEO on the occasion said that the training program is focused on preparing female employees for their roles in facilitating pink polling stations during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

He highlighted various concepts of Pink Polling Stations and roles and responsibility of female employees at pink polling stations.

The Dy.DEO stressed on meticulous training of female employees for effective management of pink polling stations.

During the programme, District Level Master Trainer, Mohammad Iqbal Samoon highlighted various electoral procedures including voter registration, polling processes, and vote counting.

Training on the use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) was provided to ensure that female employees are proficient in operating the necessary equipment at pink polling stations.

BDO, Coordinator SVEEP, Coordinator Manpower and Trainings and others concerned were also present during the programme.
